Making a Difference

No matter how small,
it’s still a difference!

When I taught nursing and the art of caring for one another, I used this simple verse for all those we helped along their journey:

Share a smile,
Touch a hand,
Reach a heart,
Change a life.

We all want to make a difference in our lives and in the lives of others!

And we can all make a difference
in a myriad of ways.

Share a smile,
Reach a hand,
Touch a heart,
Change a life.

When considering how to make a difference, it is often within our work, skills, interests, and hobbies. Within our work, we interact with others, perform tasks generally requiring precision, or provide assistance and aid. We may have a supervisor, but we are our own supervisor, trying to do our best work.

While working we have limited time for hobbies. We can include or teach others, make items to sell or give, participate or enjoy sports and leisure activities such as hiking. You might want to learn how to develop a new hobby, blow glass, fashion jewelry, play the guitar, be a mechanic, or make crepes! There are so many fun things to experience and enjoy, and most communities or colleges have classes to consider!

My hobbies? I am combining my fascination with technology, learning, health care, and writing-won’t you come along to share information?

You may have heard of Fractals?

Fractals are a mathematical structure expressed in a geometrical design often consisting of repeating similar smaller designs. There are several fractal generators online expressing the fractal formula. Diminutive differences in the numbers within the formula cause major changes to the whole fractal-implicating that your additional difference truly has a regenerative global impact.
